It is through teams that a company becomes the most that it can be. Teams have been and will continue to be formed to research, analyze, and suggest better methods for how we operate. You will be expected to participate in the teams so that you may have input to the changes that come out of the process or at least have a basic understanding of why the change is necessary and what it entails.
This team defined and verified the root cause of excessive scrap in a particular product line. They used analytical tools such as process mapping, cause and effect matrices, and control plans that were presented at recent training sessions at Auburn Gear.
