"I have been racing in the SCAA for 6 years. I race in the Midwest Division. My home track is Gateway International in St. Louis. I also race in Memphis, Indy, Kansas and Ohio. Previously I have raced in the SSC class of road racing with Neons. Last year I moved to the T2 class racing Camaro's. Last year all my competitors used the Auburn race diff and it seemed to make a big difference over the stock Torsen. I would like to purchase an Auburn Race Diff. I do not use this car for street purposes at all. It is strictly a road racing vehicle. I did race at the Valvoline Runoffs last year and will be there this year as well.

I would like to order the GM Race Diff 7.6, 28 spline #542088."

We wanted to update everyone at Auburn Gear on our performance during the 2008 racing season.

For the fourth race of the year the team headed to St. Louis for the World Street Challenge to battle with the big boys of the Outlaw 10.5 World. We went with high hopes after running a stellar 6.83 @ 217 mph with a small block single turbo during testing at Milan Dragway. To the surprise of the field we matched this time in the first round qualifying run.

Next up, we had the home field advantage and a change to make a run in the points chase during the NWRA Race at Milan Dragway. We finished as the runner up with a lock on second place in the point’s race.

Our next race was the Pinks 1320x race, again at Milan Dragway on the fourth of July. We ended up in the number three qualifying spot with a 7.00 ET and ready to battle some of the big names in the OutLaw 10.5 Second World Series.

The car we faced in the finals was a single Turbo Big Block that ran a 6.79 ET in the semis, earning him lane choice in the finals. Both cars left together when the lights came down. At the end we lost by a fender and to everyone’s surprise we ran a 6.78 to the other cars 6.74. The fans went crazy, saying it was the best race anyone will see all year.

The NMRA/NMCA Super Bowl in Joliet, IL was our next race. The cars left even, but we moved toward the centerline, so Dan aborted the run for safety reasons. We remain in second place in the points standing with a good shot at the championship.

We thank you for your continued support and look forward to proudly representing Auburn Gear.
